I LOVE this idea from Khan Academy and the talk was very interesting. So my question is: Is this all free to use? I am going to try it out if it is. Beth
ReplyDeleteI checked out Kahn's videos but they are not fundamental enough for my third graders and they assume kids know more than they do. Also they don't give enough practice on the tougher examples or even include those. In decimals, I did not see any intro lessons that relate initial understanding to money which is a very effective way to broaden fundamental understanding. I see these video lessons as a way to do some remedial work with older kids who missed a concept or practice with it in previous grades....so maybe starting with fifth grade or so. Beth
