Blog Assignment
Scroll to the Web 2.0 tools of Kathy Schrock's web page to see some resources that you may find useful in your work. Blog a review of one of the tools you find there. Due next week.
I may use Instant Poetry Forms for a quick poem lesson. Sometimes I just need a quick look at a poem and there are some popular ones on here that have a pattern that is easily understood by kids and they can put their own ideas it the spaces. This is fine for a quick poem but nothing matches an original idea that blossoms from free form and brainstorming.
Many of the things I checked out are paid products. Others you could use right away and they were free. I looked at Exercises, Quizzes, Tests and looked at FunBrain a ready to use site with the kids and liked Graphic Organizers. Game-o-matic was disappointing but maybe I need to spend more time on that site and try to make it work as I could use some interactive activities with my kids and their spelling words. Beth
Incredible resource and I will be creating a mini lesson for it next week.

I agree that it is a great resource. There are so many different things to look at. I liked ePrintalbeCalendars and flashcardexchange.
